Assessment of parenting style and psychopathology dimensions in runaway girls

Aim: The purpose of the present study was to evaluate and compare parenting Styles and Psychopathological Dimensions in the runaway and normal girls.
the present study was to based on causal-comparative (EX Post Facto) method. In order to the implementation of Study, From the runaway girls community in Tehran city who were placed in different Welfare centers, 50 people who were placed In the Welfare Organisation and moral security police, After obtaining informed consent, and selected by purposive sampling, were homogenisation with 50 other girls in high schools throughout the city. In the final step, In order to collect research data, Questionnaires SCL 90-R (1972) and parenting style questionnaire Bamrynd (1972) was distributed between the Participants and their data were collected.
The results showed that the dimensions of Psychopathological and parental style In the girls running away was different from the normal girls (P It seems that the psychological damage and poor parenting style can Provides the predisposing girls running away from home And run away more susceptible them to psychological damage, Therefore requires that In the order to reduce the risk of Dimensions of psychological damage and education appropriate Parenting styles, Psychological interventions taken seriously.
