Human Nature (Fetrat) in Quran

Abstract:
Human nature is one of the substrata for knowledge about the human kind and its relation to reality. Understanding the human nature by the aid of reason and the language of argument or by the aid of hadith and the language of explanation and reflection is a problem the solving of which can guide the cultural, philosophical, and social dimensions of man. The main issue in the present paper is the investigation of the internal structure of human nature in relation to the knowledge-based aesthetics of reality, and even in a deeper sense in relation to the nature of reality. Using the method of rational analysis and ijtihad of hadiths, we are going to demonstrate and explain the insight and tendency dimensions of human nature. In rational argumentations, by referring to the wisdom and best system of the God, and also in relation to the efficient and ultimate systems, regardless of historical documents, human nature (fetrat) and its four types has been demonstrated. The particular creation of human is also explained in a Qurʾānic and intuitive discussion. The conclusion could be extended, by the aid of argumentation and Qurʾān, so that, in a harmonized system, the understanding and tendency dimensions of the human nature could be demonstrated in the nature of the reality.
