The Effect of integration of art with mathematics on the student's learning and creativity

Abstract:
Purpose
The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of integration of art with mathematics on the students’ learning and creativity.

Method
This study is a quasi-experimental study. The population in this study was 386 students from fourth grade female students of Ramsar. The sample of this research were 40 students who were selected by cluster random sampling. And most of learning test with 40 questions and 32 questions with a total score of 40 and test creativity with the numerical value for a pre-test and post-test and control group were taken. To collect data, a researcher-made test learning and creativity Schafer were used to test the validity and reliability levels.

Results
For data analysis, multivariate analysis of covariance (MANCOVA) is used.

Conclusion
The results show that, the students learn through a combination of art have been trained in math compared to students who are more traditionally trained, and the creativity of the students who have been trained in math through a combination of art to students who are more traditionally trained.
