The Essence of Ziyarah In a Conversation with Aayatullah Haeri Sherazi

The principle of Ziyarah is the spiritual communication of a person with the Aowliya` (friends) of Allah whereas the superior state of Ziyarah is that which comes out from the depths of heart. The heart of faithful is the real home of Allah. Perhaps Husain ibne Ali (a. s) has millions of tombs in whole world. Human being is Divine manifestation and Allah makes epiphany in him. Faithfull's heart is like a well. All the oceans cant be fit in a well of one cubic meter; whereas one cubic meter of ocean can be fit in it. «Aarifan Behaqqeh» (the real recognizer) means; man should know to whom he is performing Ziyarah. Man, while he gives himself up, finds Allah. Ziyarah can be performed through the heart. There is a Ziyarah of Imam Husain (a. s) from remote distance. Ali (a. s) is the embodiment of the wishes of Allah and the manifestation of Divine attributes, names and impressions. Those who love Ali (a. s) are indeed the lovers of Allah. All of our Imams (a. s) are the guests of Hazrat Zahra (s. a). O Allah! Your rank is so dignified that I appear mounted before You. Each step has the reward equal to Hajj and Umrah.
