The Holy Shrine of Askariyain (a.s) Throughout the History

Abstract:
The holy shrine of Imamayn Askariyain (a.s) is one of the holy places of pilgrimage for Shias which has left behind countless accidents and events throughout the past times whereas it had also been the hub of attention for Shia people and rulers; so that it had been frequently rebuilt and expanded in a period of more than a thousand years.
This great monument is constructed on the remains of a house in which Imam Hadi (a.s), Imam Askari (a.s) and Hazrat Sahibul Amr (a.s) lived while Imamayn Askariyain (a.s) were also entombed in it after their martyrdom, likewise, Hazrat Hujjat (a.s) was also born in this house whereas the basement of this house was also the place of his meeting with his four vicegerents.
Some great Persian men’s names have also been seen among the rulers who have rebuilt and expanded this holy shrine whereas kings and rulers of the times of Safawiyyah and Qajariyyah had greater part.
This writing, introduces the holy shrine of Imamayn Askariyain in Samarra’ in the beginning then it describes the incidents year by year, which happened in this holy shrine along with the description of reconstruction and expansion works done in this holy place as well as the names of the doers of these jobs.
