The Martyr of the Shrine of Samarra The Biography of Shaheed Syed Hameed Taqavifar

Syed Hameed Taqavifar was born in the city of Karoon whereas he stepped into the struggle against the Pehlavi Government by joining the group called “Mansooroon” in his adolescence. Shaheed Taqavifar then joined Sipah-e-Pasdaran after the revolution and made a prominent presence in curbing down the anti-revolutionaries of Khozistan. With the beginning of the imposed war, he set forth for battle fields along with his father and brothers while his father and one of his brothers embraced martyrdom in the way of Islam and revolution.
Shaheed Syed Hameed Taqavifar got his retirement after his years of sincere service in Pasdaran-e-Inqelab-e-Islami but the struggle against oppression and tyranny had no end for him, so he set off to Iraq to defend the holy shrines of Ahlulbayt (a.s) (the holy progeny of holy Prophet PBUHH). The defendant forces of holy shrine expelled the Khawarij of the times out of the city of Samarra’ under the command of this great commander of Islam but in January 2015, this brave fighter flew away from the birthplace of the Imam of the times (a.s) towards the heavens and joined his father and brothers there.
