Bibliography of Imam Hadi (a.s)

Abstract:
The tenth bright star of the sky of Imamah and Wilayah, Ali-ibne-Muhammad (a.s), whom title was Hadi and Naqi and surname was Abul-Hasan, born in 212 AH in a place near Madinah. He reached to Imamah in the age of eight years whereas he was martyred on the order of Mu`tiz Abbasi, with poison in the month of Rajab, 254 AH. He was son of Imam Muhammad Taqi (a.s) and father of Imam Hasan Askari (a.s). Imam Hadi (a.s) was famous for purity of his life and his worship of Allah whereas he used to spend his most of time from day and night, in offering prayer and worshiping Allah.
The time of Imamah of this honorable Imam was one of the most sensitive time periods of Islamic history in which six tyrant and wayward Abbasid Caliphs ruled. They took Imam Hadi (a.s) under strict supervision and prevented from any communication of Shias with them.
This time period of ups and downs has attracted the attention of many Muslim researchers towards itself, so that there are abundant books written in this connection. But the writings which focus only on the life, personality, ethical character and sayings of Imam Hadi (a.s) are small in number, which are being introduced in this article, which are fourteen books in Arabic and twenty in Persian.
