A Survey of Studying Persuasive Factors among the Public Libraries Users in Sari

Abstract:
The main purpose of this study was to identify factors encouraging patrons of the Sari's public library. The study was a descriptive survey and research method was survey- exploration method. The population of the study was all clients of public libraries in the Sari city include 15 thousand people of all levels of school. According to Kerjesi and Morgan table, 375 persons have been selected as a sample. A researcher made questionnaire has been used for data collection. Validity of the questionnaire measured by take the opinion of thesis advisor and consulting advisor. To measure the reliability of the questionnaire, 25 questionnaires distributed between public library users, then the reliability of the questionnaire was assessed with using Cronbach's alpha test, the alpha value obtained (0/82) and more than 0/70, therefore, questionnaire was reliable. The results of data analysis indentified ten factors as the factors for encouraging the study. The findings also showed that the public library user's opinion regarding education, income and age there are significant differences with respect to factors encouraging the study.
