Effective Elements In Reduce Corruption And Its Dimensions In Selected Civil Service

Abstract:
Considering the importance of the corruption negative impact on social and economic affairs, this study tries to identify effective factors to reduce corruption in civil service. It is considered an applied and descriptive survey research. In order to evaluate hypothesis and understand relationship between variables, questionnaires were used. The reliability and justifiability of questionnaires were confirmed respectively by: Cronbach’s alpha of 0.894 and content justification method. Statistical population of the study consists of 130 personnel of selected civil service and according to the Morgan table a sample of 97 people was taken. Wilcoxon and Student’s t statistical methods were used for data analysis in SPSS. Results confirmed … measures to reduce corruption which were placed into 5 categories: managerial, environmental, legal, personal, and educational factors. Finally these factors were prioritized by magnitude of their impact on reducing corruption using Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) in this order: managerial, legal, educational, environmental, and personal factors.
