The role of Iran's regional strength in Persian Gulf cooperation council policies: 2005 - 2015

Persian Gulf cooperation council is one of the most important of regional organization in Iran’s regional environment and Iran’s regional policies always have important role in its objectives and orientations. The present paper tries to explore Persian Gulf cooperation council policies in frame of Middle East new transformation and realism theory in international relations¡ apply this main question that “what was the role of Iran’s regional strength in shaping and determining policies and behavior methods of Persian Gulf cooperation council in 2005-2015? the main findings of the paper illustrate that with the middle East Current transformations in these years that member of the GCC deemed to have as increase in Iran’s penetration rate and regional power and emphasis on the defense strategy of the deterrence in term of integrated security strategy¡ increasing military power and nuclear advances¡ is shaped Persian gulf cooperation council behavior methods in term of changes in internal structure¡ the policy of alliance-coalition in the region level and increase ties with the west¡ especially the United states of America in different levels. This paper addressed the issue with analytical method and library resources.
