Message:
Abstract:
Bashshar ibn Bord, the Arab blind poet and Shoorideh Shirazi, the Persian blind poet, have had a great use of colors in their poetic images. Based on the cross-sectional method, this article is to study the psychology of personality of Bashshar and Shoorideh and then study the colors used in their poems, based on the Max Louscher color test. The results showed that among four Loucher's Color Groups, the first in both poets are approximately similar. Accordingly, Bashshar and Shoorideh both were suffering from extreme provocations that had led them to separate from their society. They had the hope of overcoming most of their limitations. Bashar is an easygoing and determined personality who feels at ease by interacting with trusted people around him, while inside, he believes that he deserves more than he gets.By his self-control and limitation of his inner desires, he makes to adapt with the conditions and prevents emotional intimate relationships. On the other side, Shoorideh, despite his hope, is a sensitive and egoistic personality, not satisfied with his situation and prefers isolation. He wants others to love him for his own and respect him.
