Comparative Analysis of Political Thought of Mulla-Sadra in Al-Mabda va Al-Ma ad and in Al-Shavahed Al-Robubiah

The goal of the present article is showing change and Altering in Mulla-Sadra’s political thought. The main question of the papers is whether Mulla-Sadra’s thought is unique and has not changed over the time or his political thought has changed during his scientific and intellectual life. The claim of this paper is that at least two stages can be traced in the political thought of Mulla-Sadra; one is the first stage of this political thought which is within Al-Farabi’s political philosophy and intends to develop and extend it and present suitable interpretation with Mulla-Sadra’s first stage of thought and philosophizing, and this extension and interpretation can be observed in Al-Mabda’ va Al-Ma’ad and the other is his stage of political thought. At this stage, he is under the influence of Suhrawardi, Ibn-Arabi and Qaisari and accompanies these interpretations with the text from Plato which he thinks is divine and presents a mystic interpretation of Religion, Nanbbovah, Shariah, Government, The first manager (Raees-Avval), etc. The methodology of this paper is comparative analysis of the political thought of Mulla-Sadra in first and last philosophical and political philosophy of Mulla-Sadra. The article shows that we can, at least, talk about two stages in the political thought of Mulla-Sadra and correctly talk about the first Sadra and the second one with regard to political thought. The political thought of the first Sadra is within AlFarabi’s framework and the political thought of the second Sadra, which is based on Suhrawardi, Ibn-Arabi and Qaisari and is grounded in Plato’s, orients towards political mysticism.
