Practical model of the role of time perspective in academic performance mediated by procrastination and self-efficacy in students of Yazd University

The aim of present study was to design and Causal the structural model of relationships between variables of academic performance based on procrastination , self-efficacy and time perspective in university students.
It was a descriptive - correlation research by using structural equation model It was a descriptive and correlation research. For this purpose, 450 students (272 female and 168 male students) were randomly selected from Yazd University students. Then they were evaluated by academic performance, procrastination , self-efficacy and time perspective questionnaires. The data were analyzed by using structural equation analysis.
The results showed that the recommended model was a strong theoretical model to forecast the academic performance of university students. Procrastination and self-efficacy partially mediated the relationship between time perspective students with academic performance. In other words, we can say that we are Present hedonistic and Present fatalistic addition to the direct effect, with the mediation of procrastination and self-efficacy is indirect effect on the academic performance of students.
