The Explanation of the Effective Factors on Organizational Citizenship Behavior Expansion in Higher Education System by Using Decision Making Trial and Evaluation Technique (DEMATEL)

Abstract: The recognition of employee's status in the behavioral field and determination of affecting factors on it plays a key role in improving the performance of universities. Thus, the purpose of this descriptive-correlative study is determination of factors that are influential on organizational citizenship behavior expanding in higher education system to desirable development of organizational citizenship behavior within country's universities. Therefore, Mazandaran University has been studied as a case study. Research statistical population includes 11 human resource's officials and professionals of Mazandaran University that these people were selected by purposive sampling method. The data were gathered by using paired comparisons questionnaire and analyzed by using DEMATEL technique. After the verification of questionnaire's content validity by experts and determination of reliability rate (96%), the results showed that among studied variables, organizational climate variable as the most influential factor , and so organizational citizenship behavior variable as the most impersonal variable are selected and appropriate the most extent of impressionability. Therefore, it is suggested that university's governors provide a context to enhance their employee's organizational citizenship behavior through application of studied variables.
