The comparison of effectiveness of masage of Dosah-hou and Alexander Technique on happiness, social adjustment, hope, mental health and quality of life in patients with Parkinsons

Abstract:
The purpose of this study was to compare the effectiveness of massage, Dosah-hou and Alexander Technique on happiness, social adjustment, hope, mental health and quality of life in patients with Parkinson's disease. The statistical population of this study were all of patients with Parkinson's disease who were clients of neural therapeutic centers in Isfahan City in 2015. Among this population 42 patients selected through convenience sampling as the sample of the study. Oxford Happiness Questionnaire (OHQ), Social Adjustment Scale (SAS), Adult Hope Scale (AHS), General Health Questionnaire (GHQ-28), and Word Health Quality of Life Questionnaire (WHOQOL), were used as the instruments of the study. Data analyzed by ANOVA with repeated measures. The results showed that research on the effectiveness of interventions between the dependent variables in the test phase ,but there was no significant difference in follow-up ,compared to other interventions Dosah-hou research on happiness is effective .more effective possible explanations are discossed.
