Responsibilities of the Individual and the Government in Political Thought of Shahid Sadr

Abstract:
Analysis of the duties and responsibilities of the individual and the government is among the important and basic issues in the current political thought which political disciplines, such as jurisprudence, try to answer. What is more important in political jurisprudence is responsibilities of the individual and the government against Sharia (religion). According to their juridical bases and methodologies, juridical-political systems have presented varied responses. The main question of the papers is What is the relationship between the individual and the government in proving Sharia in juridical-political thought of Shahid Sadr. This question has been analyzed on basis of juridical and political principles of Shahid Sadr and it was concluded that although the individual has responsibilities in proving Sharia, because of the pivotal role of the government in his juridical approach, the main responsibility is on the shoulder of the government which performs Sharia under the mastery and supervision of the Jurist.
