The Psychometric Properties of the Peer Interactions Scale (Bullying and Victimization) Among Students in Boy Primary Schools of Semnan City

Abstract:
The aim of present study was to validate the peer interactions scale in the students of Semnan city. To this end, 600 students were selected by multistage cluster sampling method and they responded to a peer interactions scale and academic motivation Harter's questionnaire. Exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis, item-total score correlation, and reliability analyses were conducted to examine the psychometric characteristics of the scale. In addition, the Samijima graded response model was used to determine the fitness of data and analysis. The statistical analysis was conducted in SPSSV22, LISRELV8.80, and Multilog software. Factorial analysis results showed that this scale is saturated from two factors and it has good fitness scales.
