Assessing the Willingness of the Unemployed to Undertake Cooperative Activities and Factors Affecting in the City of Shiraz

The purpose of this study was Assess the willingness of the unemployed to undertake cooperative activities and Factors affecting in the city of Shiraz. The Statistical population was jobseekers that referred to job centers in Shiraz city due to time and budget, among them 70 people selected as sample and the data were collected by using a questionnaire. Data were collected with interviews and proportional stratified sampling. The data were analyzed by SPSS, The questionnaire was reviewed by experts to determine its validity. After that some minor changes was implemented in the questionnaire. The Cronbach Coefficient Alpha was determined between 0.72 and 0.81 which is an indication of reliability of instrument. Results of descriptive statistics show that the age mean of the sample group was 29.5 years. 64.3% of the subjects were single and 35.7 percent were married. 55 percent were male and 45 percent were women. The lowest frequency belonged to individuals with a bachelor's degree and the most frequent are those with a bachelor's degree. The results of Analytical statistics show that there is a significant relationship between age, level of education, knowledge and attitude toward cooperation with their desire to cooperative activities. The results of multiple regressions showed that education level, main influential factors on tendency of respondents to the cooperative's activities.
