Three Dimensional Pattern of analyzing Political Regionalism of Sub-national Actors: Reviewing the experience of Amal and Hezbollah movements

Message:
Abstract:

Although regionalism has a long history among political actors, it has been seriously considered as an academic and theoretical subject in the field of international relations since World War II. Meanwhile, we should find the first level of political regionalism among sub-national actors and then among macro regionalism. The transition to the dynamics of regionalism among such actors requires three-dimensional model influenced by specific sources and components. Insight Sources, Motivational Sources, and Environmental Sources are the three dimentions of the transition to regionalism among sub-national actors. The present study, which is descriptive analytical, has chosen thirty-year-old history of relations between Amal and Hezbollah movements as comparative pattern for implementing the aforementioned three-dimensional theoretical model and attempts to show how these three mentioned sources are importanct in integrating the two movements.
