Comparatives Study of criminal policy of Iranian and Canadian police for at risk children and adolescents

Abstract:
Introduction
Decrease of delinquency age is one of the important concerns of authorities in the area of social security. Accordingly¡ identifying risk factors and anticipated support measures for at risk children and adolescents is taken into consideration specifically for public authorities and police forces. In this study we attempt to review the Iranian police actions besides studying comparing the criminal policy of Iranian and Canadian police for at risk children and adolescents.
Method
This research in terms of purpose is applied and in terms of method is documentary. Current study carried out by using comparative studies procedures and in this regard has been used library resources¡ internet¡ articles¡ national and international researches¡ international documents related to the rights of children and adolescents.
Finding: In Canada meanwhile legislation «Youth Criminal Justice» ¡ it is forecasted a separate structure for adolescents police. Also approaches such as anti-drug programs in schools (known as D. A. R. E) and established a school police officer¡ will help police to identify at risk children and adolescents. Iranian rights law due to conflict of laws 31 and 285 Criminal Procedure Law and lack of empowerment of specialized juvenile police; Iranian police has no specific criminal policy for supporting at risk children and young people.
Conclusion
