Study of social and cultural factors affecting social safety with emphasis on different dimensions of religiosity (Case Study: Tehran's citizens over 18 years old)

Social safety is an issue that has always been the concern of human societies. This study aimed to investigate the social and cultural factors affecting social safety with emphasis on different dimensions of religiosity among Tehran citizens of age 18 years.
The method in this research field using surveying techniques¡ and using questionnaire as a tool for data collection. Research population was citizens over 18 years of Tehran. The sample size in this research 600 peoples Were selected using Cochran formula. Its validity was examined by help of school s teachers¡ The reliability of the scales was assessed using Cronbach''s alpha test.
Finding: The results indicate that Sense of social safety Is influenced by the ideological dimension of religiosity¡ Ritualistic dimension of religiosity¡ The consequential dimension of religiosity¡ The experimental dimension of religiosity¡ national identity¡ the use of local media¡ social trust¡ foreign media and social participation .
The it be concluded from this study that Independent variables(Dimensions of religiosity¡ national identity¡ use of local media¡ social participation and social trust( have a positive impact on the dependent variable (sense of social safety) at the whole and an increase in these variables¡ can improve the sense of social safety it¡ then reduced sense of social safety when increasing the use of foreign media.
