Comparison of Quality of life in Postpartum Mothers Undergone Cesarean and Vaginal Delivery in Selected Hospitals of Tehran in 2015

Abstract:
Introduction
One of the important components of a healthy and comfortable living is high quality of life of mothers in childbirth as well as the assessment of their health, in order to provide guidelines for improving it.
Objective
This study aimed to evaluate and compare the quality of life of mothers in postpartum vaginal delivery and cesarean section.
Materials And Methods
In this causal-comparative study, 113 mothers of newborns undergone cesarean section and normal delivery were compared in terms of quality of life in hospitals of Tehran in 2015. They were chosen from postpartum women and their newborns in hospitals including Family, Mission, Najmieh and Chamran and Hahr, who met the inclusion criteria, using the available sampling method. Statistical analysis was conducted using SPSS version 22 and independent t-test.
