Effectiveness of Neurofeedback on Memory for Master Students of Science & Research Branch Islamic Azad University

Abstract:
Aim: Cognitive functions are among important subjects in psychology. Memory is among cognitive functions that has been lionized. Present research has examined the effectiveness of Neurofeedback on memory reinforcement.
Method
This study was done half experimentally that 30 healthy people was chosen by available sampling and set in two groups randomly¡ experimental group (15 member) and control group (15 member). There was no learning in control group. Neurofeedback learning for experimental group was 20 half an hour sessions. Test tasks of both experimental and control group was evaluated by Wechsler Memory Scale (WMS) in two steps¡ pretest and posttest. Data was analyzed using single variable covariance analysis.Results
results demonstrated that Neurofeedback learning was caused to reinforce and improve memory in experimental group in comparison with control group. There was remarkable difference from the viewpoint of memory in two groups..Conclusion
Based on results of this study¡ Neurofeedback is a suitable way to improve and reinforce cognitive functions including memory.Keywords:
