The Role of cognitive functions on mathematics performance of students Based on revised Bloom's taxonomy

Abstract:
Aim: The aim of this study was to evaluate the role of cognitive functions «working memory capacity¡ math attitude and mathematics anxiety» third grade high school students¡ the second city of Mashhad on their academic performance¡ based on Bloom''s taxonomy is revised.
Method
This method is non-experimental study (correlation) ¡ respectively. For this purpose¡ the sampling method (area¡ school¡ class¡ students) ¡ 145 students were selected. That the questionnaire «math anxiety» ¡ «Mathematics Attitude Scale» ¡ «Children Active test set (WMTB-C) » and «test math performance¡» responded the performance of math based on the classification table modified Bloom 5 math question topics functions¡ limits and derivatives were designed.Results
The findings of this study show that the impact of working memory¡ math anxiety attitude and math academic performance of students in different levels of knowledge and cognitive processes are different.Conclusion
The results of this research can progress in the performance of students in solving mathematical problems¡ meaningful learning¡ appropriate teaching beneficial. Keywords:
