The Relationship between attachment styles, perfectionism, anger and emotional adjustment among students

The purpose of this study was to the relationship between attachment styles, perfectionism, anger and emotional adjustment of students. The research was a correlationl study.The population consisted of all graduate students Of University of Ardabil in 2013 (93-1392s.c.). among all, 234 students were sampled using randomly sampling. The research tools consisted of Adult Attachment Scale, Positive and Negative Perfectionism Scale, a questionnaire was used to control anger and emotional adjustment questionnaire. The data were analyzed through Pearso’n correlation coefficients and multiple linear regression. The results of multiple linear regression indicated that Insecure attachment styles (avoidant, ambivalent) only for negative perfectionism and ambivalent attachment style, only to anger and secure attachment styles, avoidant, and ambivalent emotional adjustment to be predictable.
