Opportunities and Challenges for Useing Joint Oil and Gas Resources between Iran and Its Persian Gulf Neighbors

The Iranian plateau is rich in oil and gas and only there are about Thirty five Iranian domains of these resources in the Persian Gulf which is common in fourteen areas with Arab countries in the region. The operation of the common fields in the Persian Gulf has created opportunities and challenges for Iran in line with regional integration that we feel it necessary to address. Already the main question arises here is following¡ what are the opportunities and challenges of exploiting from which common fields of oil and gas in the relationship between Iran and the Persian Gulf countries? The answer to this question is posed by these hypothesis that the most important opportunities can be greater cooperation in the exploitation of these fields¡ refining and transference of these resources to world markets and of the most important challenges is lack of regionalism and economic integration between countries that the reasons are numerous¡ including: Iran isolation in the arrangements of regional security¡ dependence of Arabic countries to America and the West¡ religious¡ ethnical and racial differences between them¡ Lack of cooperation and technical areas of joint oil and gas fields and so on. The research is based on descriptive – analytical method with library tools.
