Abstract:
The Nahj al-Balagha (The Peak of Eloquence) is the most famous collection of sermons, letters and narrations of Imam Ali A.S. It was collected by Sharif Razi, a Shii scholar in the Tenth century (fourth century AH). Known for its eloquent content, it is considered a masterpiece of literature in Shii Islam and has attracted the attention of Muslim and non-Muslim scientists and scholars all around the world. But in the meantime, some of the Sunni scholars and author's have raised doubts about the authenticity of some parts of Nahj al-Balagha including its philosophical and wise terms. In this regard, this article seeks to examine thoroughly this doubt, and based on the rational arguments and historical and analytical methods, recognizes and shows the absurdity of the thing. Finally the article achieved to the conclusion that the existence of philosophical and wise terms in Nahj al-Balagha do not rule out the authenticity of Nahj al-Balagha as a great book demonstrates the eloquence of Imam Ali (A.s.)
