BRT bus schedules and taking into account the limitations of time-varying traffic lights traffic

Abstract:
Bus System Extremist BRT as a solution efficient system of public transport in developed countries is known, so we tried that this system by development of technology by providing methods and systems for advanced, high-quality to carry passengers in the cities. The end result of all functions aim to model this is considered to be the reduction of waiting passengers to reach the bus and reduce travel time, but in a way that the bus goes through obstacles such as crossing intersections and events unexpected that can in the direction of the bus speed affects occur. In this study, optimization of scheduled bus departures from the source is done and the objective of minimizing the waiting time of passengers at the station and during the journey, taking into account the volume of travel demand in stations, depending on the time of a working day ranging from follows the Poisson distribution as well as when the bus route between two stations can also follow a particular distribution. Model using GAMS software and summarized data were evaluated one business day.
