Improvement the quality of architectural spaces design, by using the functional mechanisms of the senses

This article is written about the role of identifying the mechanism of human action senses, on conscious design of architectural space based on the sensation and perception psychology. One of the issues that are today explained, in the field of contemporary architectural theory, is the issuues about architectural space and how it is perceived. Nowadays, we have many studies on the quantitative and qualitative evaluation criteria of architectural space, readability in space, meaning in space and in general all factors that have been associated with space, that most of these studies are superficial and we have less descriptive and analytical approach among them. This study intends to provide proposed solutions, among theoretical principles and by the help of scientific major named “sensation and perception Psychology”. The purpose of this research is to identify ways to make more informed architectural design by using qualitative and analytical research and in this regard, after first introducing the concepts relevant to, we try understanding how the mechanism of human action senses in the perception of architectural space work. In this article the main and posed research questions are: How is the mechanism of human action senses in the perception of architectural space? And whether these mechanisms can identify practical solutions for conscious design of architectural space that help designers and architects with that? Consciously designed architectural space, that can successfully convey environmental messages of designers to space users.
