Applying Elements of Movement to Death in the Perspective of Holy Quran and Sahifa Sajjadia
Author(s):
Abstract:
Since human being is incapable of observing the immaterial aspect of his own and other beings, he cannot properly know death which is in between material and immaterial and thus in need of someone who is dominant on both worlds. God has informed us of this event and its nature. In Shiite belief, holy Prophet and infallible Imams have also this noetic dominion. In his supplication Imam Sajjad makes use of terms about death which, taken methodically indicate its internal structure of motion. These include: souls getting of bodies return to God arrival and joining. These terms are used for death of human beings not other animals. The main mover of this motion is God himself who commissions the angle of death to undertake the task by His Power and Command.
In this short essay we are to prove the nature of death as a sort of movement by simply analyzing synonymous terms applying all components of movements to the event of death
