The comparison of employed and unemployed youth in Rasht

The subject of psychological security is an important article, especially among young people. Unemployment variable makes a lot of problems for the country. Many factors like unemployment can influence on psychological security. So this research wants to compare two kinds of young people. This research tries to find out that employment can influence on psychological security or not. The method of the research is causal-comparative. The statistical society of the research is young people of Rasht. The statistical sample was 385 persons according to Morgan table. The result of measurement was obtained by Maslow questionnaire with 71 questions. The first section of Maslow questionnaire introduces the characteristics of employment index which was made by the researcher. The Statistical analysis has been done by the extracted data from gathered questions. Results indicate that there is a significant difference between two groups in all ten dimensions(social security, personal insecurity, sense of humiliation, self-confidence, compatibility with others, frear of future, sense of security, social interest, loneliness. Then results show that the employment has a significant effect on psychological security. If the level of psychological security in the society remains stable, the creativity and talents of persons will develop. This variable helps people to improve their life styles. One of the important economic factors which can save the equilibrium of social and psychological security in the society is employment. Most of psychological variables will be destroyed without employment.
