The relationship between human capital and productivity index of Ports and Maritime Organization (PMO) of Mazandaran province

The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of human capital on productivity index in PMO as the case study. The research method is descriptive. The population in this study were all employees (250) in the PMO and 148 of them were selected by Morgan table through random sampling. The framework of the study was the combination of theories in this area. In this model, human capital in terms of ability and talent, and education and skills were studied and for studying productivity of human resources, standardized questionnaire was used. To analyze the data, Pearson correlation and regression were used. In testing hypotheses and according to confirming the sub-main hypothesis the effects and direct impact of the main hypothesis is confirmed. In this study, three variables were also identified, sub-ability and talent, and education and knowledge and skills of human resources has an impact on productivity and finally the conclusions and suggestions are presented.
