Evaluation of Criteria for Locating Service Centers Among Roads With the Approach Of Passive Defense (A Case Study: Sari-Qaemshahr Expressway)

Highways play an Important role in transportation System. One of the most important Facilities on the highways is Service Areas and if these centers are in good locations , they can have the best performance. On the other hand , according to the principles , methods and strategies of Passive Defense Can decrease a lot of problems with Location-finding while in crisis. Therefore , in this study , with an approach based on passive defense , five appropriate criteria have been identified for the location of Service Area and then the weight the value of criteria and appropriate model of location-finding for service areas have been introduced. Finally , it has been shown that the criteria of security and political consideration has the highest weight in the model and the criteria of economic consideration has the least weight in the model.
