Psychology of Death

Abstract:
Death as the greatest incident of life has a complex concept and can be accompanied by a lot of pain and suffering. The type of emotional reactions of individuals in the face of death and accepting it entirely depend on actions¡ behaviors¡ thoughts¡ personality and individual’s coping ability with previous issues and problems during life. Psychology tries to create a desirable death without suffering¡ pain and pressure. There are a lot of religious-historical¡ philosophical and psychological studies in the field of death. Certainly¡ it can be said that awareness of death as a phenomenon in the cultural space of the world is usually expressed in relation to a critical situation (losing a loved one¡ being afflicted with a disease) or aging that this phenomenon of death is also interesting in different situations. Finally¡ many measures can be applied to use concepts and experimental knowledge of accepting death for clinical populations in order to make easier death acceptance. This particular issue shows some early attempts to take advantage of the new boundary of positive psychology of death acceptance.
