Background And Objectives
Cancer is one of the most important diseases of the present century and the second cause of death. This study aimed to determine the correlation between general health with life expectancy and quality of life in Patients with leukemia.Methods
This study was conducted as a descriptive-correlational study on 100 leukemia patients selected by convenience sampling in Zahedan city, 2015. Demographic characteristics, general health, life expectancy, and quality of life questionnaires, were filled in by the patients. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation coefficient, and step-by-step regression Analysis.Results
Among the dimensions of general health, physical symptoms, and disruption in social functioning, had a significant negative relationship with life expectancy of these patients (pConclusion
