The impact of Wahhabism on Saudi women's rights

Woman and women’s rights frequently has been investigated in different countries. In history, the role of woman and her place has experienced countless changes. Sometimes the woman is considered superhuman and Sometimes they have made her look like something. And tried to own her. With the passage of time, the emergence of religions, especially the religion of Islam, and the full support of Islam from the status of women and human progress in various fields of social, political, cultural was changed attitude to the woman. In particular, the role of woman was considered in Islamic countries. What Western Societies after World War II recognized, under the title of human rights documents for protecting human rights, especially women’s rights , Islam had considered them centuries ago. But the emergence of self-made religions like Wahhabism, in Saudi Arabia, and the support of the Saudi government for this religion caused to wiped out rights listed in Islam on women’s rights in this country. Saudi Arabia have returned to the period of ignorance under the control of the Wahhabism . On most legal, social and educational issues women turned to the object. The question is how do human rights institutions only report about Saudi women (Universal Periodic reports in 2009 and 2013)? And why do not they do anything about the demand for women’s rights in Saudi Arabia. This paper has been compiled by the library method.
