The Effect of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy on hope and happiness of female Adolescents Supported by Hamadan Well-fare

The aim of our study to examine the impacts of the treatment based on acceptance and commitment on hope and happiness of female adolescents including in Hamadan Welfare. This is an half empirical study. Our sample population includes female adolescents of Hamadan Welfare who live in family-like centers. The size of population is 30 adolescents who have completed Snider`s hope questionnaire and Oxford happiness questionnaire as a pretest. Then they were categorized in two control and test groups in a random manner. Both groups in pretest, posttest, and follow-quarter promising to the Snider's hope questionnaire (1991) and Oxford's happiness questionnaire (2001) responded. Therefore, test groups were under treatment of acceptance and commitment by 1.5 hour for 8 sessions. At the end of treatment, our data were analyzed by one variant and multi variant covariance using SPSS 22.0. Results showed that there is a significant difference between hope and happiness scores in two different groups. Also, according to the multivariate covariance analyzing test, there is a significant difference between hope components, operative thought, and guiding thought. These results were confirmed after three months follow. Therefore, treatment based on acceptance and commitment about hope and happiness of female adolescents involving in Hamadan is influencing significantly
