The Use of Jurisprudence In Realization of a Safe Urban Outlook

Since the urban outlook gives a viewer the possibility to perceive the environment, it has an important position in urbanization. The urban outlook must have various features, one of which is security. Security is one of the principles to which much attention has been paid in Islam. Islam has plans for all aspects of human life, and has determined the basis of security, affluence, and welfare to be in observing the rules and regulations governing social relations depending on reason and religious Law. The jurisprudential rules are one of the sources used by Islam for extracting the precepts and the practicing method. In the present article, we have attempted to introduce the principles of a safe city and the factors effective in achieving security in Islam, while dealing with issues such as risking Muslims’ lives and properties, material and spiritual harms related to others’ activities and behavior, wasting properties, etc. These harms are threats and defects to the embodiment of security in cities and its outlook. In jurisprudential rules, the abovementioned matters have been mentioned. Inserting and using these rules in urban regulations can play a considerable role in the appearance and achieving security in the urban outlook. The findings of the study show that by relying on jurisprudential rules and sources and the presence of jurists and authorities in meetings of compilation the general administrative and executive principles of cities, one may prepare the necessary ground for the emergence and embodiment of religious concepts pertaining to urban life and the social life of the citizens in the urban outlook. The research method is descriptive-analytical and the data have been gathered using library sources and documents.
