Internet addiction and its consequences on the different educational aspects

“Internet addiction” is a serious damage caused by excessive use of internet. Today it may be considered as a threat for the education of the youth, teenagers, and even children. In addition to different damages caused by this matter including stress and lack of patience, affection disorders, anxiety, bad temper, and disruption of family and social relations it has many unpleasant consequences like weakening of religious beliefs, inclination to pornography and sexual matters, creating unhealthy social relations, lowering the influence of parents on children, increasing social deviations, seeking dangerous friends on internet, and so on. The present research, using an analytical method, attempts to study the consequences of internet addiction in three major religious education, moral and social dimensions.
