A valuation framework for early stage technologies

With development of research commercialization in Iranian universities and research organizations, the shortage of commercialization infrastructures challenge has been revealed and the necessity of attention on this field by technology development policy makers is obvious. Universities and research organizations in every technology transfer needs to technology valuation methods. But nature of technology valuation and its context effects on this process, makes it very difficult. Certainly increase of academic work in this filed can help to decrease these difficulties. This article has reviewed important Principles of technology valuation in briefly and then has been focused on valuation of early stage technologies, the technologies that usually outcome from academic institutions. With this aim, first the element of basic value has been verified and then the future income analyze has included in valuation frame work and finally the effects of Special features of valuated technology participated in this frame work.
