Physical development planning of urban green space with emphasis on accessibility (Case Study: Babol city)

Abstract:
Today in the scientific literature, urban planning, urban parks have various functions of social, economic and ecological respectively. The issue of accessibility is one of the ecological functions due to direct contact with citizens is important. Today parks and urban green spaces to improve living conditions in urban communities are great strategic importance. Babol is one of the cities that does not have the proper distribution of green space and some of its neighborhoods have not green space or parks. While some other neighborhoods have more green space. The aim of this study was to physical development planning of urban green space with emphasis on accessibility in Babol, through studies and field work indices collected and then using the AHP to variable composition and contribution of each to explain accessibility of parks within city ​​was segregated neighborhoods. Then using GIS and mapping software, new parks is presented according to the needs of citizens and to address the lack of green space per capita is in Babol.
