Identifying And Ranking Factors Affecting The Job Motivation Of Officers In Long Term Sailing Using AHP Technique

The purpose of this study is to identify and rank the effective factors on the job motivation of maritime personnel in long-term sailings. In fact, researchers are looking for answers to these questions, what are the factors influencing the job motivation of battle flotillas employees in long-term sailings? What is the ranking of these factors? The statistical population of this research is all employees and commanders of floating units, dealing with operational strategic naval forces, and the sample of the study was using statistical methods of 78 people and the sampling method was simple stratified random sampling. In order to identify the factors affecting job motivation, a five-point Likert questionnaire was prepared from past theories and researches, using a Delphi method, and distributed among the statistical sample and the AHP technique was used for ranking. The findings of the research show that the main factors affecting the job motivation of mariners are as follows: 1. Work environment conditions; 2. Salary rates; 3. Specific job needs; 4. Provision of welfare facilities; Organizational factors, 6. Leadership style, are seven factors of growth and progress, and then the ranking of the 20 effective variables affecting the job motivation of the mariners in the long-term sailings was carried out and finally, in order to create or increase the motivation of the sailors, some suggestions were offered for each effective variable,
