Effectiveness of Logo Group Therapy in Depression and the Meaning in Life among Divorced women in Tabriz City

Abstract:
The present study aimed to examine the effectiveness of logo group therapy in depression and the meaning in life in divorced women in Tabriz city. This research was a semi-experimental pretest-posttest design and a control group. The population consisted of all divorced women whose age ranged between 60 and 50 years and voluntarily attended three psychological and counseling centers in Tabriz. Being selected through the convenience sampling procedure, the sample was comprised of 14 participants who where randomly divided into experimental and control groups. The experimental group received a 10-session group therapy treatment that lasted for 00 to 110 minutes while the control group did not receive the treatment. Both groups were administered the Beck depression inventory and the Meaning in Life Questionnaire (MLW). The obtained data were analyzed by multivariate analysis of covariance (MANCOVA).
