Preparation and Study of Polypropylene, Mica and Closite Hybrid Nanocomposites for Body of High-Speed Crafts
In this study, polypropylene, mica and closite were used to prepare composite body of high-speed crafts (HSC). Regarding the non-polar nature of polypropylene and the polarity of the nano-materials, an appropriate conformer was used to react with each other. Due to the large size of the mica layers and the strength of the layers, diacetone acrylamide was used as a suitable modifier. X-ray spectroscopy tests (XRD) were used to investigate the correction function. Also fourier transform spectra (FTIR) were used. A scanning electron microscope (SEM) was used to check the level of defect. The impact, tensile and bending tests were also used to determine the mechanical properties of the nano-composite The results of the study showed that 1% by weight of modified mica, along with 0.5% w/w of nano-clay, compatible with and suitable for polymer modification, can use for economic body of HSC with high-strength.
