Abstract:
Introduction
The present research work is aimed studying the predictive role of perceived social support in the post-traumatic growth and development of blind veterans.
Method
The participants included 110 blind veterans selected through the convenience sampling method and administered the Perceived Social Support Questionnaire (Zemen, et al., 1988) and the Post-Traumatic Growth and Development Questionnaire (Tedeschi & Calhoun, 1996). The obtained data were analyzed using SPSS, Pearson correlation coefficient and multiple regression.

The results showed that there is a relationship between perceived social support and post-traumatic growth and development and the F value obtained was 234.067 which is significant at p
Discussion
According to the findings, perceived social support can significantly predict post-traumatic growth and development. Also, each one of the components of perceived social support can separately predict post-traumatic growth and development.
