Assess the Packaging Situation and Offer Executive Solutions for Products Export (Case Study: Semnan Province Export)

Abstract:
Packaging is one of the pillars of marketing. Packaging of iranian products in global markets have always been a controversial topic many experts believe that the inappropriateness of packaging the iranian products is one of the barriers to export development. Therefore, in this study, using questionnaires , interviews and focus groups composed of random sampling, according to Friedman's analysis of variance analysis, the export status of the province of Semnan has been analyzed and ranked according to the basic criteria of packaging and there are some ways to improve it. The results of the research show that the export products of Semnan province have been favorable for packaging in terms of labeling, size, transportation and warehousing, product protection and ease of use. But in terms of design, color, appearance, raw materials, instantaneous sales power, competitive power and brand introduction, are not suitable.
