The Documental and Implicational Study of the Hadith I have been commanded to fight people

The Hadith of “I have been commanded to fight people” is considered as one of the most important documents for Jihad commands. Referring to this Hadith, and some other reasons, orientalists and Takfiris introduce jihad in Islam as an act of violence. However, the documental analysis of this Hadith indicates a distortion of it. Some Rejal sources, both by Sunni and Shiite, suggest that in any succession to Hadith, there are unreliable narrators, i.e., those accused of mendacity, or those for whom there is no description. Moreover, the content analysis of the Hadith measured against Quran and Sunnah along with the word analysis of it both bring us to a different sense than common understanding. It should be noted that although this Hadith has been narrated among Sunnis frequently, i.e. it has been in succession by a countless number of people over centuries, there is no citation of it in famous Shiite Hadith communities, and only the jurisconsults have relied upon it.
