A Model For The Strategy of Cultural Diplomacy of I.R.Iran

This article examines the concept and functions of cultural diplomacy to propose a model in the Islamic Republic of Iran. Cultural diplomacy driven by governments, using cultural instruments and capacities, serves as support for foreign policy goals and diplomacy goals. The methodology employed in this article is a mixed method research and various tools such as written sources, official and valid sites, deep interviews and questionnaires have been used. Quantitative data were analyzed by descriptive and inferential statistical methods using PSS20 and Lizrel 8.5 software. The data were analyzed by descriptive and inferential statistics using factor analysis, refinement and categorization and weighting, and the final model of Iranian diplomacy was designed.
The results of the research show that cultural diplomacy can be distinguished in three dimensions: structural, legal, and executive.
The designed model emphasizes the importance of the three dimensions of cultural diplomacy and emphasizes the improvement measures of education, culture, communication, public policy, good governance and cultural rights.
In the executive aspect, attention was paid to promoting the indicators of trade and cultural investment, as well as promoting the level of international cooperation and the use of new technologies of communication and information, in particular the increase of cultural presence in social networks as an effective instrument for improving the image of the country in the international community. Cultural diplomacy and soft power will increase the influence of Iran in the world.
