Seroepidemiological surveillance of blue-tongue virus antibody in goats of Charmahal-va-bakhtiari province, Iran

In this study a serological survey was carried out to detect group specific blue-tongue virus antibodies in goats serum collected in two regions of Chaharmahal-Va-Bakhtiari province of Iran in 2015. Blood samples were taken randomly. A competitive enzyme linked immunosorbent assay(C-ELISA) was conducted to test the serum samples for blue tongue virus (BTV) group specific antibodies. BTV seropositive reaction were obtained in 776 (57.48%) out of 1350 tested sera.
