Designing the Merit selection Model of Managers of Payame Noor University

Selection of merit managers of university is a necessary issue in the system of higher education in the country because they are the main determinants of the decision making of this educational system and the most appropriate selection of them requires criteria and indicators that aim the research, identify the merit selection criteria of managers A university for the purpose of selecting and appointing good and effective managers. The research method is of a combination type (qualitative-quantitative), which has been approved by reviewing theoretical foundations and interviewing experts and using the Delphi technique. 54 indicators have been approved and based on exploratory factor analysis, 47 indicators are divided into six categories and finally by the test The confirmatory factor and the structural equation test of the research hypotheses were reviewed and confirmed. The results of the research indicate that in order to select and appoint university managers, their merit selection components include: managerial intelligence, empirical knowledge, social skills, organizational ability, professional attitude and school value.
